For the young adults of the Inland Northwest, flying as a means of transportation in the future will be as common place as the pioneers who rode horses. The Chastek family has been a part of the Inland Northwest community for over 4 decades, raising children here, who are now raising their children. The Chastek family knows the importance of supporting efforts to educate our young people and retain them for future growth within our region.

Security Screening Equipment In Place

TSA/CBP (KGEG) has delivered the necessary screening equipment to Spokane Airways and will be stationing personnel here for passenger and aircraft screening.

Local TSA (KGEG) managers along with CBP agents have additional personnel scheduled that will allow Aircraft/Passenger operations to be conducted simultaneously.

One-Of-a-Kind Resources

Spokane Airways has a confidential contact list of the Canadian security agencies, reservations and FBO’s. This direct-communication network allows the FLIGHT CENTER to provide a level of service and information to Flight Crews and

VIP air-travelers that is unequaled.

Adverse Weather Equipment On Demand

Spokane Airways has long provided anti/de-ice service to the airlines. We are specifically designating two Trump de-ice trucks (both with Type I and Type IV to serve GA aircraft so that there are no scheduling conflicts with the commercial airlines. Equipment and Personnel are Airline Certified. Hangar availability is limited.

Portal Airport Working Group

Initiated in August of 2009, Spokane Airways organized and hosted meetings with the U.S. and Canadian Agencies directly involved in General Aviation travel to and from the 2010 Olympic venue. Those meetings developed into the “2010 Portal Airport Working Group”.
